
Zizi Hattab, a native Spaniard, has quickly risen to prominence in the global gastronomic scene with her innovative plant-based fine dining cuisine.
Born in Spain to Moroccan immigrants, she was immersed in diverse culinary traditions from a young age, enjoying the flavors of a Spanish fishing town and traditional Moroccan dishes like tajine and couscous at home. After studying engineering in Barcelona, Zizi moved to Switzerland, where she started her corporate career. Despite a promising path in engineering, her passion for cooking continued to grow, leading her to host elaborate multi-course meals for friends in her spare time.
In January 2020, she opened her first restaurant, KLE, and within a short period, earned significant recognition. She later launched her second restaurant, DAR, which was quickly named a venue to watch. Zizi’s cuisine, which combines plant-based fine dining with a focus on sustainability, continues to captivate food lovers and critics worldwide.
